I have snuck out here since I couldn't take more of Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. There's just so much misery and gore that I can take and after 45 minutes I had had enough.
Just wanted to post another finished finish this week, Poor Jack from Birds of a Feather. I think I have to put some new batteries in the camera, it's hard to get it to focus. I also added a picture of my DD getting ready for her 4 H stitching class. All went well, the kids were well behaved and seemed to enjoy it!
Otherwise we have mostly prepped for fair this week and the kids have had a few play dates and I even had time to have lunch with Mel. The basement is getting close to being finished. The carpets are going in on Monday.

I know what you mean about that movie, I watched the whole thing with my hubby mind you, it was very very disturbing from beginning to end, only one man and his wife survived from that tribe and against unbeatable odds, very disturbing is all I can say but I know there was an underlying message in it somewhere, there had to be.
I can't stomach those kinds of movies at all. :(
Hey, I love the picture of your daughter stitching! And 4-H makes me go all wobbly and homesick inside. If we could move back to Maine, I would LOVE to get the kids involved in that organization!
Your Poor Jack finish-finish is adorable!!
I didn´t know that 4H is international organisation....
Your DD looks so cute while she is so focused on stitching :0)

Great finish! Congrats. Your DD is concentrating so intently on her sitching.

Lovely piccy of your daughter stitching... how precious... I wish my dd was in to stitching... she's 24 now, yet I'm not giving up... Hopefully, one day she will pick up a needle and fall under it's spell! ;-)
