Finished block 9 of Village of Hawk Run Hollow

But first, here's how far I have gotten on Summer House. Not to much but with me hanging out with my dad who was here visiting I haven't stitched in the evenings. I could have sworn that I snapped a picture of it but couldn't find it on the camera so excuse the quick scan.

And here's my block 9, I'm pretty chuffed that I'm done with it. It took me such a long time to finish up, don't know why really? I love the result at least.

So now I'm finally starting to get somewhere on this beast. Since this picture I have gotten a bit more done on Block 10. It would be great if I could finish this one this year

Dad's visit went great! We did get to do lots of things that he had on his list. He loves the Zoo, the SAC museum and we did go through the Wildlife Safari too. It's been a long time since we last did that so it was fun to see what they had changed. He also got a copious amount of shopping in, just like all other Europeans that you let loose in American stores.
This is a picture of Dad and my 2 oldest trying to spot the wolves at the safari!
Thank you for all your nice comments and just for visiting. Hopefully I will get caught up with blogs and my groups later this week. But for now I'm off for my desperately needed hair appointment. It will be a pure bliss I tell ya!

I'd be pretty doggone chuffed too if I was completed with block 9 on my Village :)

Summer House shows a very nice progress. And house #9 looks terrific. Only three more to stitch on Village. I wish I had already stitched so many on Houses, lol.

Block 9 looks fantastic! Well done on getting it finished. The more I see these the more I like them. I've just bought Shores from Mary Kathryn as she had it on sale. Living by the sea it's a perfect design:)

Summer House is so pretty.

I love your work on Summer House and of course, VoHRH is great--you've come a long way on it. I'm stalled somewhere in the middle of HoHRH! Thanks for the advice about the fairs and needlework shops. Kansas is one of the places we were thinking of also.
