Happy birtday sweetheart!

My sweet baby girl turned 6 this week, she's getting so big. We threw a party for her at Build a Bear Workshop and she really loved her day. Almost all the kids from her pre school class came and her friend from the neighborhood too so we had a big party crowd. It was so much fun seeing the kids party away.
I did finish up Block 10 on Village of Hawk Run Hollow from Carriage House. I have to say that this is one big design, I need to find a huge frame for it. It's worked on 36 ct linen.

And here's where I'm at on the Summer House after Wednesday. The letters and vines work up really quick. Wednesday was a good stitching night too with DH reading to youngest DD and I was able to catch up with 4 DVR'd shows while I stitched away.
Thanks for reading and commenting on the last post. I'm off to start catching up on some blogs now. We have 2 birthday parties today and I still haven't picked up gifts so I can only roam for an hour in blog land, but this next week I should be caught up.

Happy Birthday to your sweetie girl! She looks so cute in the photo.

You have some lovely stitching there, Kajsa! I don't think I've seen that BBD LF before - must be an older one. Lovely!

Catching up on your photos of LA visit - that looked like a lot of fun.

Happy 6th Birthday! to the little princess
Wow! I love your VoHRH, I can only hope to get half way. The brick and mortar on block 3 is slowing me way down.
Summer House looks great.
I remember when Kellie had a BD party at Build A Bear many years ago

Thank You so much for the inspiration. I stitched just over 4 hours this afternoon after I read your post. I have the building done and only have 1/4 of that gold sign to stitch, yay!! Block 3 will be done tomorrow thanks to you.

Happy Birthday to Alice. She is just so cute that you just want to hug her.

Your Village looks so good. I think you will be the first from our original SAL group to actually finish it. Several have fallen by the wayside never to be heard from again.

Happy Birthday to your little one! Six! I love six year olds. And five year olds. My youngest nephew will soon be 9 and the oldest just turned 18. Don't know whether I love 9 and 18 just yet! LOL
Lovely vacation pictures, I'm glad you all had a great time.
Great stitching! I love the colors in Summer House.

Oh and yes, its been cooler and wetter than other summers, but I just hate anything over 85! Perhaps its cause I was born in Alaska or maybe its because my mother so hates summer! Like mother like daughter!
