January is upon us!

Their song LF Blackbird Designs
WDW, Sampler Threads
R & R linen

And it never fails, there's always lots of sick people in this house in January. I think the bacteria is just festering at the schools when it's so cold that the kids can't even get out and get aired out at recess. So far we have a bad cold and my youngest got a bad stomach flu.

So I can't wait until the warm weather comes back! I will get one of my latest finishes framed so I can pull it out this summer. At least working on this one gave me some hope, I know that I will be sitting under the ceiling fan thinking fondly of winter soon again;>.

Let us be Thankful from Bent Creek
WDW and Sampler threads
32 ct Mocha linen

I finally gave up on getting a better picture of this finish too. The turkeys are really cute close up but I with the sun giving up on us and it being gloomy and snowy all the time a close up will just not happen.

Thank you so much for all the nice comments! I really appreciate all of them. Marika, I got your address and will get the patterns out to you. Don't worry about sending anything.

Well, I guess that my constant companion, the laundry is waiting for me.

Oh Kajsa, you are too kind !! :-) Their song looks really nice as well as BC`s work. Turkeys look funny because in Finland they don´t mean anything else but turkeys. :-)

BBD looks splendid and BC is fantastic too.
Love the turkeys

Both are lovely finishes! It's tough at this time of year not to be sick or have a sick one in the house. Spring will come - sooner than later I hope!

Both finishes are beautiful! I hope the illness leaves your house soon.

Their Song is absolutely gorgeous! I really wish I'd done the Loose Feathers the year this was part of it. I love some of the ones from 2008 but have to admit that I've been a little disappointed in some too. I was also disappointed they didn't do a Wintry/Christmassy one like they have other years. Oh well! LOL!

Hope you're all feeling better soon.

This BBd is one of my favourites because i like blackbirds. I hope to stitch it this year.
I hope the cold and flu bugs will be leaving soon and you and your family will be better soon.

Their Song and Let us be Thankful have turned out wonderfully. And the good thing about laundry as a constant companion is that it doesn't talk to you while you stitch.

Hi, Kajsa! I love your pieces and finishing. Wish I had that finishing talent. Oh, laundry, the bane of my existence!! I stare at it and close the door to the laundry room until night-time when I can tolerate it best. I do hope you're feeling up to yourself again soon.
Hugs, Deb
